Workplace pizza parties are a cliche motivation tactic. So what’s a better alternative? A day off to enjoy that pizza at home. To celebrate National Pepperoni Pizza Day, we gave people the chance to send a Pepperoni Time Off request to their boss in exchange for free HORMEL® Pepperoni and an entry to win a pizza party vacation.

REQUESTING TIME OFF

Our landing page prompted visitors to send an email directly to their supervisor requesting PTO on National Pepperoni Pizza Day. A slider provided three levels of message intensity: Bold, Bolder, and Boldest.
In exchange, entrants received a spot in the vacation sweeps and a coupon for free HORMEL® Pepperoni.
